What does follow-up care look like, and how often are adjustments or re-evaluations typically required?

Consistent Care Through Every Step of Treatment

From the very first evaluation, each patient’s follow-up appointments are scheduled in advance to ensure timely, consistent care throughout their treatment journey. Decades of experience have shown us that proactive scheduling leads to better outcomes and smoother adjustments as kids grow and change. Depending on the stage of treatment, follow-ups may occur as soon as two weeks, at four weeks, or every three to four months for ongoing care. Each visit is more than a check-in, it’s an opportunity to listen, reassess progress, and make adjustments to their orthosis that keeps every child moving confidently toward their goals.

What resources do you provide to families to ensure proper brace use, maintenance, and adherence?

We will spend time with the patient and their family in the clinic during the evaluation and fitting educating on the proper use, break-in, skin care, what to expect, and how it will help towards goals.
