OPSB® Clinic Exclusive
Part of the OPSB® Control Line, the Ranger AFO, rigid design maintains triplanar foot and ankle alignment and enhances knee control throughout the gait cycle, promoting proper alignment, stability, and proximal strengthening. This allows the patients to have goals of minimizing the progression of deformity, neutralizing foot, ankle and knee alignment, and restoring ankle and knee range of motion.
This AFO is indicated for patients diagnosed with any of the following: mild to moderate knee stability in the sagittal plane, limitations in ankle and knee range of motion, hypertonia, moderate to severe triplanar instability of the foot and ankle, and toe walking. The increased height of this design allows for better control of the knee position and optimizes stability. The Ranger has multiple fabrication options, allowing it to be customized to your child’s specific needs. Contraindications of use are compromised skin integrity or sensation and fluctuating edema.
