Philosophy
My passion for pediatric orthotics and prosthetics comes from the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a child’s life. I approach every patient with a commitment to understanding the whole person beyond their clinical needs. I believe the best outcomes come through collaboration, creativity, and adaptability. I hope to empower children not only to overcome challenges, but to thrive.
Bio
My journey into the field of orthotics and prosthetics began at a young age when I met Winter the dolphin! I have always been drawn to both healthcare and engineering, so orthotics and prosthetics are the perfect blend of my passions. While pursuing my undergraduate degree in Kinesiology, I discovered the path to becoming a Certified Prosthetist Orthotist. During my studies, I developed a strong interest in biomechanics and gait analysis. I went on to study orthotics and prosthetics at Northwestern University, where I had the opportunity to learn from leading clinicians and work alongside remarkable patient models. It was during my volunteer activities and my time at Northwestern University that I discovered my passion for pediatric O&P care. Today, I am privileged to be part of the OPSB team, where I continue to learn and grow while helping children achieve their goals. I am dedicated to empowering our patients, supporting their independence, and helping them thrive so they can participate fully in the activities they love!
