Philosophy
I believe orthotic and prosthetic treatment should be as unique as the patients we serve. Children deserve compassionate care centered around their individual goals, and I enjoy working closely with patients, families, and the broader rehabilitation team to make sure every child feels supported and empowered throughout their journey. My mission is to combine evidence-based care with clinical creativity to help kids move through the world with confidence, independence, and joy.
Bio
I was drawn to the field of orthotics and prosthetics because it is at the intersection of so many of my passions: rehabilitation, engineering, design, and patient care. I earned my undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering, initially planning to pursue a career in prosthetic research. Ultimately, I decided to earn a master’s degree in O&P because I was missing that direct and immediate impact on patients’ lives. I love the creativity and problem-solving that O&P requires, especially when developing personalized pediatric solutions. My favorite part of the job is building relationships with patients and their families while helping kids chase their dreams.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy exploring the outdoors and traveling with my significant other, spending time with family, making art and music, and kayaking with my adventuresome cat! I also am involved with rehabilitation research and adaptive sports programs.
