Managing clubfoot treatment can be hard work; our patented ankle-foot orthosis (AFO) is designed with velvety soft materials, a secure fit and Ponseti® Abduction Bar and Mitchell Ponseti® Move Bar compatibility — making it easier for you and more comfortable for your child.

Designed specifically to meet Dr. Ponseti’s recommendation to maintain dorsiflexion through Achilles tendon stretching and foot flexibility, the Mitchell Ponseti® Toe Stilt AFO System features a built-in wedge at the front of the AFO. This wedge keeps both feet in a clinically desirable 10 degree dorsiflexed position when standing. Please note your child must be ambulatory for the Toe Stilt AFO to have any effect when used without a bar.

Recommended for complex clubfoot and children with hyperflexible feet, the Mitchell Ponseti® Plantar Flexion Stop AFO System limits plantar flexion with rigid dorsiflexion to maintain the prescribed position of your child’s foot and ensure a consistently neutral or dorsiflexed position.

Designed to provide two corrective technologies in one, the Mitchell Ponseti® Plantar Flexion Stop - Toe Stilt AFO System is designed to limit plantar flexion while maintaining 10 degree dorsiflexion and encouraging lower calf, Achilles tendon and plantar fascia stretch in children who can stand independently without a bar.

The Boston O&P SMO is used to treat conditions including pronation/supination, heel eversion, and forefoot abduction.
