To be an empathetic and open minded individual by striving to understand people’s lives from their perspectives. As a clinician, I aim to be meaningful and thoughtful with the interactions and treatment plans of my patients and their family members.
After graduating with my Bachelors degree in Biology at UNLV, I was able to work at the North Las Vegas VA Medical Center’s prosthetic department during/after the COVID-19 pandemic as Certified Orthotic Fitter. It was here where I gained an interest and passion in the field O&P. After gaining irreplaceable experience in geriatric and adult orthotic patient care for over two years, I was able to pursue a Master’s Degree in O&P at IIOP and now have become an O&P resident. Here I hope to further expand my knowledge and experience in order to become a well-rounded, empathetic clinician.
