My personal philosophy of care is to use the three pillars of evidence-based practice: relevant research, clinical expertise, and patient and family values. All three are equally important to developing effective solutions to a patient’s movement problems and to help them achieve their goals. My goals as a clinician are to participate in a team approach to quality patient care, and to above all, provide top quality care to all patients.
I am a graduate of Northwestern University’s dual Doctor of Physical Therapy and Masters in Prosthetics and Orthotics program. Since I can remember, I have been interested in a career in the medical field, and I wanted to spend my days helping people. PT and O&P were natural fits for me, and there is a lot of overlap and collaboration required between the two fields. I also love that both fields demand creativity and hands-on problem solving. Since starting at Boston O&P I have continued to develop my interests and skills in pediatric care as well as research.
