I hope to provide an environment for the children and their families that allows them to be comfortable, feel heard, and fosters excitement in them to succeed in anything they wish to pursue. Kids are so resilient, and I take pride in helping them by providing care that will help support them in every facet of their lives. Something that drew me to O&P was the collaborative nature of patient care alongside the family, which I believe produces the best outcomes. I am eager to be a part of an enthusiastic, supportive, and attentive care team that helps their patient reach their full potential. My goal is to be a clinician to make an impact on their lives and provide the care that just lets them be kids!
The O&P profession was first introduced to me in high school by a family friend who was a CPO, and it quickly became a career I was passionate about pursuing. Entering college, I decided to study exercise science with the intent of becoming a certified orthotist/prosthetist and also played basketball throughout my four years of undergraduate studies. During my hours of shadowing and internships, I fell in love with pediatric care and giving kids the care to help them excel. I am eager to be a part of children gaining mobility and participating in all the activities that they love the most!
In my free time I love to go running, spend time with family and friends, and go to the beach!
