I truly believe that patient-centered orthotic and prosthetic care is most successful when pediatric patients and their caregivers have an ongoing voice in the plan of treatment. A collaborative and inclusive environment paves the way for positive relationships between clinicians and patients.
I made my way to the orthotics and prosthetics field after working for a sports-based youth development non-profit for several years. In my shift to a clinical environment, I am eager to merge my experience in youth development with my pediatric focused orthotics residency. At Boston Orthotics and Prosthetics, I am fortunate to work alongside other members of the interdisciplinary care team to increase mobility and quality of life for kids and families.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, traveling and rooting for DC and Maryland sports teams.
