The field of Prosthetics and Orthotics can feel overwhelming, and I am passionate about guiding patients and their families through the process in a way that leaves them informed and empowered. Taking the time to understand the full picture and developing creative, evidence-based solutions are essential to achieving patient goals and delivering the best possible outcomes.
I have always found joy in helping others overcome challenges and achieve their goals. With a background in Kinesiology and English, I bring a unique blend of expertise to designing devices and communicating personalized treatment plans effectively. My experience as a Certified Personal Trainer for seniors in an assisted living facility honed my ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams to ensure the best outcomes for patients, particularly during life’s challenging transitions.
Earning a degree in Orthotics and Prosthetics allowed me to expand on this foundation, including through volunteer work in adaptive youth sports, which deepened my understanding of available resources for patients. As the field evolves, I remain committed to staying at the forefront of technological advancements, leveraging computer-aided design and manufacturing alongside traditional fabrication methods to create reliable, safe, and comfortable devices. I believe quality care profoundly impacts quality of life, and I am dedicated to providing every patient with the highest standard of care.
