When working with children and their parents, I want to make sure they leave their appointment with every question answered and every concern put to rest. Bracing can be intimidating for pediatric patients and their families, but with a little bit of patience and a little more time put into educating about their orthosis, we can see better success stories in the long run.
I became interested in the medical world in high school. I realized I wanted to learn more about human anatomy than the video games my friends were playing. Originally from Los Angeles, California, I made the transition to Ohio with an abundance of knowledge in healthcare looking for my next adventure. I came across Boston O&P and was introduced to a new outlet to help kids see the potential in themselves and to help them along their journey.
I have an amazing partner who has supported me through it all and his son has quickly become the little beacon of light at the end of my day! I am so thankful to be able to help kiddos discover themselves and be a part of the team that is cheering them on!
