The OP Specialty Bracing team is excited to announce the limited launch of the new Halo Gravity Traction System, 
TRAXIO! 

The TRAXIO is a pediatric weight-based traction system designed to provide controlled axial force for halo-gravity traction therapy. The system consists of a mechanical traction unit—utilizing a weightand-pulley mechanism—which attaches to a third-party cranial halo ring via a dedicated secure clip interface. 

The Size 2 (Medium) Weight System is currently available for purchase in limited quantities. Additional sizes of the Weight System as well as the full Spring System will be available later this year.

The device is intended to generate and maintain a traction load to the pediatric spine. It is a nonactive, reusable component (with consumables) intended for use in a controlled hospital environment. The TRAXIO is indicated for use in pediatric patients (infants, children, and adolescents) who require 
gradual spinal realignment through halo-gravity traction. This device must be used in conjunction with 
a compatible, separately cleared/approved cranial halo ring and pin system.
